Intensive program
The Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAA40104) has more units and covers a greater depth of VET knowledge than the previous certificate. This qualification is targeted to individuals for whom training is a large part of their job within a structured assessment and training system and helps to develop skills in the delivery of training and assessment programs.
It is designed to assist those who have responsibility for training program development, individual, group and work based delivery as well as the assessment of training participants or employees.
It specifies the competencies required to deliver training and conduct competency-based assessment in a range of contexts.
Bridging course
This program is targeted to trainers currently working within the VET sector who are wishing to update their current BSZ qualification (Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training) to the new Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Participants will be required to supply evidence demonstrating their current skills to enable them to receive RPL / RCC.
RPL / RCC
All participants are eligible for RPL / RCC towards any unit of competency within the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. The RPL / RCC may have occurred through formal or informal training, through work or life experience. All evidence supplied must be authentic, current and valid.
All RPL / RCC information will be covered during scheduled ‘Information Session’.
