SRC
The SRC (Student Representative Council) is a collective of students who have an important voice in the running of the institute. It’s an integral part of student life. SRC members meet with senior staff to discuss the student body’s current issue and organise sporting events and karaoke competitions. SRC members gain invaluable life experience and build strong friendships with other students, staff and businesses.
Involvement with the SRC is an excellent experience for students aspiring to work in managerial roles. SRC members conduct team events and learn vital negotiation and organisational skills. SRC members also gain solid experience in event management by hosting cultural days and other SRC fundraisers such as karaoke, soccer and cricket games.
